Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Knowly (the "Service"), operated by Knowly ("Knowly", "we", "us"). By visiting our site, taking a quiz, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Knowly offers short personality-style quizzes with a free result, and paid add-ons: a one-time detailed report for a single quiz, or a recurring "Knowly Unlimited" subscription covering every quiz plus an AI consultation feature. Current plans and prices are listed on our Pricing page. Quiz results and AI consultation replies are generated for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only — they are not professional, medical, psychological, or financial advice.

2. Accounts

Creating an account lets you save quiz results and access your purchase history. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@goknowly.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Purchases and payment

Paid purchases are processed by our payment provider, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd or its applicable affiliate), who acts as the merchant of record for these transactions. That means your purchase contract for the payment itself is with Paddle, and the receipt/invoice you receive comes from Paddle rather than directly from Knowly — Paddle handles billing, tax, and payment-method compliance on our behalf. Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in the currency displayed at checkout.

4. Subscriptions

"Knowly Unlimited" renews automatically each month at the price shown at signup until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support@goknowly.com; cancelling stops future renewals but does not itself refund the current billing period — see our Refund Policy.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility for both the one-time report and the subscription is described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

• Don't use the Service to harass, defraud, or impersonate anyone.
• Don't attempt to bypass paywalls, scrape quiz content at scale, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Don't use automated means to create accounts or submit quiz answers.

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual property

The Knowly name, quiz content, scoring logic, and site design are owned by Knowly or its licensors. Your quiz answers and the personal report generated for you are yours to keep and use privately; you may not republish or resell our quiz content itself.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Knowly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above; continuing to use Knowly after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
